A contemporary Diamond Anniversary cross stitch design intended to be stitched as a gift for a special couple celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. Quirky bespoke lettering creates the 'diamond' word surrounded by romantic motifs, with the 'i' in diamond replaced by a glorious wedding cake. Fun and quick to stitch as each letter and motif come together to create a modern anniversary themed sampler for a special couple. An alphabet is included with the pack for personalisation to include your chosen names and anniversary date. The design contains mostly whole cross stitches although a few fractional stitches and french knots are used to add detail to the sweet little love birds and bubbling champagne. Backstitching is also used to emphasise the outline of the larger bespoke lettering and to add the couple's names and anniversary date.
